Interesting how one of the most consistent ways of getting Conan to open up is to threaten to involve Ran. Heiji managed to get the truth by threatening to tell Ran that Conan was Shinichi. Eisuke got confirmation about Conan’s identity by saying he wanted to take Ran to America/that he had a crush on Ran.

And Masumi’s just flat out talking to Ran about the drugs and Conan’s non presence whenever Shinichi’s around and vice versa.

Can’t help but feel that this will bite Conan extra hard later if the Org tries going after the Mouris.
