Random thought of the day: What if Momiji is a foil to Sera? In the latest file, it’s implied Momiji has some capability as a detective, if Iori’s words about her deductive capabilities being regular are to be trusted. The foilishness comes in when you start comparing the two. Momiji seems to be more obviously feminine in contrast to Sera’s more androgynous appearance, and while Momiji seems content watching Heiji through news reports and sending her butler after him, Sera tends to just directly approach Shinichi/Conan to talk to him.
On another note, it feels like Gosho’s trying to use both to make love triangles. Momiji directly states that Heiji is her future partner due to him apparently proposing to her when they were younger, while it’s very heavily implied Sera has some form of feelings towards Shinichi due to their childhood meeting.
